the only let down from this news is that tito is not on ufc 103 card which im attending but other than that belfort vs. franklin is one hell of a main event....also tito ortiz 1st fight back is looking like its going to be mark coleman either in october or november.......great to have tito back he mentioned why go to strikeforce where there are not many LHW instead chose the competition in the ufc where the greatest LHW currently reside.....WAR ORTIZ!!

He was my favorite fighter but after hearing him on youtube ***** about having to give a 17% tip to a waiter and basically trash America over it, I hope he gets his ass kicked.

well coleman will get the chance early but as long as ortiz survives the early onslaught hell dominate thru and get the "w"

I wouldn't count Tito out just yet. He damn near tapped Machida, who right now looks very untouchable at the moment.

LOL, was this the UFC's "BIG" announcement?

This shouldnt be a difficult fight for Franklin.

I'd like to see Ortiz vs Coleman. Mark still has undeniable power, I would (never thought I'd say this, LOL) give Tito the edge in striking and fuel. The Hammer grabs the edge in wrestling. Coleman is an old powerhouse that is built like a tank but gets the gas mileage as well vs Tito, seemingly a cardio-animal with an attitude to go along with it.

Watching it if it all goes down.

rumor: Vitor is asking for this fight at 195

I think that weight is good for both fighters.

I see Vitor winning this. He has better movement, quicker hands, sharper and more accurate shots and more power. On the ground it's pretty even, but I don't see it going there.

maybe he will watch wanderlei vs rich and learn from silvas mistakes.

Wanderlei's mistakes were that he wasn't aggressive enough (shocked that I'm actually saying that about Wand) and I think looking back the weight cut took it's toll on him which hindered his aggression. Vitor has better technique than Wanderlei and picks shots rather than bullrushing opponents with wide singing punches when exchanging. Plus Vitor is a great finisher when he has an opponent hurt bad and he is tough as they come.

Also Vitor is mentally back to himself, or close to it now that he has finally got some closure on the whole horrid situation with his sister. That, coupled with fighting at weight classes above his natural weight which meant he had alot more bulk in his muscles sappng his gas tank was his downfall and lend to the inconsistency which plagued him throughout the middle portion of his career. Now he's at 185 he looks in far better shape and a lot more fluid than he was when he fought at HW and LHW.

I'm just looking forward to seeing Vitor back in the UFC again. Maybe I'm bias because he was and still is one of my favourite fighters ever.
