I been on the bandwagon ever since he started boxing, and now I truly believe he will dethrown Hopkins. Eastman didn't do **** in there, his accuracy was horrible, he couldn't hit a 40 year old who kept running around. Trinidad would get his ass handed to him again, I dont want to see another brutalization caused by Hopkins. Taylor on the other hand, is the heir apparent, and if some would agree, let Taylor fight Trinidad for the no.1 spot to fight Hopkins, I'm pretty sure Taylor would hand Tito a larger ass whooping than Hopkins did. Than the passing of the torch can be done at the end of the year, when Taylor succesfully dethrones the Executioner, sending him into retirement, as a legend, great fighter, and definately a top 3 Middleweight of all time.

I believe that Taylor is the next champ but i dont know if he can beat Hopkins. Hopkins has proven again and again no matter how boring he is to watch that he will come out of the ring with the Win. Taylor will be champion but i believe it wont happen until hopkins retires.

He's the heir apparent but he'll never dethrone Hopkins. Two different things. He'd have to fight him this year and he won't beat him with teh elil experience he accumulated. Oh yah, hopkins didn't look 40.

In another thread I said how I wanted to see Eastman fight Taylor, but I change my mind...why don't they let Tito Trinidad fight Taylor, based on styles who do you think would win?

If Taylor can move, he beats Tito. If he trades, he's done.
