In a 15 Round fight Who would Win?



Both have there advantages, Both have Flaws, Both have terrific Power.


I think this Fight would be told after the first 3 Rounds. Im not saying Mike would Tire after 3, But you got to admit The longer this goes the better it is For Rock.


i can see this going either way.


I can see Tyson Stopping Rock While he is Cold.
But i also see Rocky weathering the storm and Breaking Mike Down.

Tyson TKOs Marciano inside 3 rounds. But if somehow Marciano managed to last 10 rounds, by some miracle of god, he'd prolly score a TKO late.

I respect Your Opinion, but im curious, Why would it take a miracle of god to weather the storm? Many quality fighters have survived against Mike, were they Miracles?

Mike fought pretty big dudes, and most of the ones who survived utilized some pretty effective defensive strategies. Marciano was small, and was there to be hit. I'm not saying his defense was terrible, but the awkward leaning he did wouldn't do much good against a guy around his height with hands 3 times as fast.

Marciano can't fight like Evander. Nor was mike in his prime when he met Evander... Evander's headbutts were also a big part in making mike uncomfortable. The headbutts would not have been effective if Evander wasn't taller. Marciano however is the shorter man.

For a guy with 49 fights does that not seem odd to you? Tyson KOed big guys, Dempsey KOed big guys, Frazier KOed big guys...Marciano avoided them.

Man, if Marciano could just last to round 4 or 5....

I think he would. Marciano would be down 3-5 times in the first 3 or 4 rounds and completely break Tyson once it was over. It would be ugly.

Rex Layne - 200 and over 6ft tall
Joe Louis -213 and 6'2".

Mike Tyson knocks him out early.

Tyson is not a 3 round fighter, he tires near the end and his punch output slows but only because he starts so fast. I'd say he's more of a 6 round fighter.

If Rocky did win I don't think he could knock him out. Tyson was to tough, big and strong in his prime to go down against a LHW.

If you think Holy's headbutts made Tyson uncomfortable Marciano was the master of making making fighters uncomfortable lol. Not sure whether being taller is an advantage re butting to be honest.

As much as I like Marciano and his courage,heart,ability to take punishment,stamina,and love of boxing....Tyson is just to big,hits to hard,and would KO Rocky in one or two rounds.

Well Marciano was a pretty thick set man, and it wound't be written in stone if he would of been able to cut to 175. And you do realize Marciano was a very healthy eater and always training, so it not as if he would of had alot of fat to cut, due to blowing up.

No way Marciano could drop that much weight. Rocky Trained his ass off for every fight and in between, He always came into the ring at 100% shape.

Recall...they weighed in 5 hours before the fight back then. Under those circumstances Rocky could only cut to 180 at best. But, under 24+ hour circumstances he could cut to 175. Some fighters today cut 20 lbs, but 10 is more realistic here since often old school fighters weren't nearly as hydrated in the ring then as they are now.
