Crouch is the most under rated player in the league IMO.

When he joined Liverpool I couldn't believe it but he turned me around, he has great ability, scores goals and can hold the ball up to bring others into play.

Redknapp isn't stupid and he knows what Crouch can bring.

Plus anyone who can score a true hat trick against Arsenal is a good player.

£10m I think Spurs paid, good price considering how much teams are paying for top players at the moment. He had a good partnership going with Defoe whilst at Pompey for a bit. Get rid of Bent for a couple of Mill more and thats a good bit of business.

A proven chemistry with Defoe for one, an added areal threat both defensively and offensively and a buffer to relieve the defense by holding onto the ball and offering an outlet.

I would say so, Keane likes to drop whilst Crouch likes to be up top. Of course it remains to be seen.

I'm happy about this, I don't have to dislike him any more. As a Saints fan I saw probably his best season at the top level. In a relegated team he won the fans around with a load of good performances and goals. He gave me one of my sweetest football memories when he buried that 93rd minute penalty to beat the skates.

Shame Redkrapp will be his manager again. I hate that man.

Stats don't mean **** all you know that. Look at his England stats.

16 goals in 16 starts (34 apps) does that then make him better than Rooney who has 24 goals in 48 starts (54 apps)?, of course not.

He is not an out and out goalscorer that's obvious but he is a great team player.
