View Full Version : dry mouth and fatigue issue need help now!!
DJ QUIK JR. 07-26-2009, 03:00 PM people tell me im dehydrated but i dont know if thats what it is. when sparring my mouth get dried in turn i get nervous then tense and i cant punch accurately then i go into defnsive mode and start panicking. what the hell is it. my mouth goes totally numb and i loose my legs then after. i try relaxing but i cant. it happened to my cousin for the first time yesterday and he lost his first fight becuase of it. what the hell is this and how can we get help
robstaaass 07-26-2009, 10:55 PM i know what it is. the symptoms of that big adrenaline release, after it you will be gassed. you'll get real dry mouth, you wont be able to hear your coaches yelling things at you, you will feel numb, your mind will be blank, and you'll have no energy whatsoever after. honestly i'm just starting out boxing, but i used to get it in wrestling all the time. i know in wrestling and BJJ that you want to resist this release, stay relaxed and focused. i guess it just takes time to work with and delay/avoid. i know you want to be relaxed in boxing, so i guess just try your best to stay loose. easier said than done though, i guess it just comes with experience. keep at it!!

just try and take a deep breath whenever you feel tensed.
relax b4 the fight or get ****y, which is what I do, even tough I'm about to get my @ss whopped by someone more experienced.

do u have any pics of scar joes feet? also yeah its hard to remebr but i think the deep breath will help the most
RightHooker 07-30-2009, 11:53 PM I never had that, but if it is just the effects of andrenaline release, it will go away as you get more experienced and more comfortable/relaxed in the ring.

if u pee ajnd it is very yellow, then u are dehydrated. if that is case, drink gatorade and water.
make sure u are eating foods with enough fresh vitamins too.
and the more hydrated u are, the less u will get dry mouth. also, i have found that what u sonsujme helps determine how your saliva is.
BUT.......................
if something happened to your couz, and u guys both had same symptoms, then i have to say that u should check into it with a doctor who likes sports or even a PT.

Cloudy/Dark Yellow = Dehydrated, Bright Yellow = Excess vitamin b

hell yeah my piss is terribly yellow and its crazy becuase i only drink water and 100 percent juice but i drink water with everything i eat. how much should i be drinking? i guess i need to drink more becuase i probably offset by drinking it regularly. how much do i need to drink a day so my fatigue and dry mouth will cease? and im gonna respond to your pms i just got them

firstly, 8 glasses of water is now seen as too much. actually drinking too much water has negative effects.
did you need more rest? or better quality rest? there are highs and lows in every person's life. you have to be able to know yourself man. you, as an athlete, should be able to feel changes in your body that mostly all non-training or non-pro athletes dont feel. me, i train for several hours a day. i know what is wrong with my bidy if anything is wrong.
if not, go to see a doc and have bloodwork done, and check out a highly qualified traditional chinese medicine specialist too. the traditional cats will look at everything and notice things a regular doc may not. but both should be sought out.
this is your health, it is important to get diagnosd at every angle and view.

damn 3 hours a day!! wowsers!! i go back to the gym on thursday for the first time so ill see how i do then i might not spar till i get back in shape i dont know. i dont want to get embarrased lol. but as far as rest my sleeping patterns are all ****ed up homey. and i dont weat as many times a day as i should. what kinda of doc should i go see a sports doc. my regular doc is cool but i have to tell him what to check for half the time :lol1: also j do u take anything? like protien vitamins or anything. i need to get back to cycling my vitamins. i used to take vitamin E and C for my asthma and that **** worked wonders. man i wanna meet up with you when i get my car fixed man so u can train me in some ****. pm me bro so we can holla
