I have read that Valuev is far more boring to watch than Ruiz. Is this true?

No not by a long shot. At least he will eventually KO the opponent. I saw him twice. The 1st one was quite boring but his last fight witch I saw was exciting and he broke the guys Jaw

We will have to see what he does against Big Titties Noble

I have read his interviews. He sounds intelligent. I have read that as a former basketball player he moves well and has good stamina. I wish I could see his last fight.

If he beats The Jedi look for him on a Marque undercard on HBO

Their already tauting this fight as a contendership placement fight for the two of them. Nobles can take some hits though

I've seen Valuev fight 7 times but two of them were first round knockouts. He looked very impressive in his last two fights against 2000 Bronze Medallist Palo Vidoz and undefeated Richard Bango both won by TKO. His punches don't seem to have much pop but they'll always back his opponents up. If you get caught in the corner your pretty much ****ed because his arms are so long he'll have you trapped for the rest of the round. I would call him a top contender in this poor heavyweight division.

I believe it is a very exciting time in boxing (agree with Byrd on this one), and I do not understand at all why the current division is poor. There is a ton of talent among HW boxers: VK, Byrd, Toney, Jirov, Mesi, Wlad, Golota, Rahman, Guinn, Danny Williams, Sam Peter, and Barrett. Very soon, Povetkin, the dominant 2004 HW Olympics champ will turn professional, and there are many interesting prospects emerging from the former S.U., e.g. Chagaev, S Ibragimov, T Ibragimov, Denis Baktov, Valuev, and others.

I think the current boxing is much better than during Mike's era, when there was Mike and everyone else.

I have not seen him, so I can not judge, but if you say so, then fine with me.

You can't teach 7'2". I believe Valuev is fighting unbeaten Gerald "The Jedi" Nobles on the 20th.

Yup he faces Gerald "D Cup" Nobles tomorrow in Germany. I'll try to get it up in downloads by Monday.
