"Wayne Gretzky and Mario Lemieux will reportedly take part in a meeting between the NHL and NHLPA on Saturday in New York as the two sides an attempt to reach agreement on a new labour deal. The Hockey News is reporting that the sides have already agreed in principle to a deal that includes a $45-million salary cap, and the cancelled season could be ''un-cancelled'' Saturday."
