There have been many threads about Brock and his possible opponents and perspective conquerous but who in reality can beat him. First of all i think it will need to be someone on his staure, if not bigger, must have seriuosly powerful strikes, and a great takedown defense and offense. because to me it needs a man to stand a trade and take those blows whilst giving the blows back, and take down Brock first. So who are these elusive men.

1) Fedore Emeliaenko - i think we will see this before we know it.
2) John Barnett - A shame he failed the test and will miss Fedor.
3) Shane Carwin - In a years time, with his size, power, and wrestling, give him a year and perhaps it is possible.
4) Marius Pudzinowski - The worlds strongest man would surely be able to strike equally if not more powerful. He has a background in pro boxing, and Karate so if ever there was someone out there, he is more than likely the man to beat him.

I would have put Valeazquez in there, but Congon wobbled him, and i think Carwin will KO him, and as for Congo his takedown defense is too weak and would not be able to stand and strike anyway. And just for the record, i think had Randy Cotoure met Brock in his prime, i do honestly beleive he would have won, because for the first round he was holding his own, he just got complacent and got caught. But is there anybody else out there i haved missed or is that it?

Give Shane Carwin a year and it's possible? Shane Carwin would knock Brock out cold if they were brought to fight tonight. 11-0, no fights going even half way into the first round all won by knockout. Lesnar has no head movement, he has been tagged only by Mir and Couture, he has not fought strong punchers. Carwin will be able to land at least one and Carwin is the only legitimate one-punch knockout artist in the Heavyweight division, Lesnar will be on his back from a 6 inch punch.

Barnett has always had a chance with top level competition, he just needs to get his **** straight first. Very disappointed in the guy right now.

I would like to see Marius Pudzianowski in a fight, period. Though he would probably not be able to physically make it past one round.

There is no explanation needed for Fedor - Plain and simple, if you think that Fedor loses to Brock in any way - If you think that Brock is capable of putting Fedor in a bad position and even if he was capable, keeping him there - If you think that Brock has even the most minuscule chance of winning against Fedor, you are completely delusional.

Fedor is not invincible. Brock has the best chance of beating him.
Id bet on Brock over Fedor.

Watch Vitor beat his ass........shock the world.

Delusional. You are a competent poster here, you should understand that unless Brock pulls some world-class prime CroCop-like stand up out of his ass, Fedor would dispatch the man rather easily.

"He's very physically powerful"

Do you know who else Fedor said that about? Zuluzinho.

Fedor, Carwin and maybe Barnett would all beat him imo. Should've been multiple choice.

Fedor...no i honestly believe he would not beat brock, brocks to big, strong, quick and skilled for him. in a cage fedor gets killed 1st or 2nd round the same way mir did trapped against the cage with no answer, in a ring it would probably go to decision.

Barnett would not have any chance what so ever.

Shane Carwin like Move Bricks said he's got that 1 punch KO power, he's almost the same size as brock has some decent wrestling, but basically if you put wrestler against wrestler the better wrester always wins and thats brock.

Marius??? i've seen his name thrown around on a few forums, is he in MMA?
Boxer with no take down defense i'd still take the wrestler by ground and pound.

If Brock sticks to his strengths like he's been doing i don't really see anyone beating him in the near future..........hopefully he doesn't turn out like Sherk and tries to become a boxer :lol1: because right now there's nobody that can stand up to his ground and pound.

Never heard of him. How can you say Fedor will dispatch him rather easily?
So far no one has dispatched him easily, including his loss to Mir.

When and if they ever meet, you will see Fedor show expressions on that mug of his. ie. Disbelief, Horror, pain, and all other expressions that go with a serious beating. My 2 cents worth.

You have got to be trolling. Zuluzinho is a Brazilian legend/son of a huge legend - Somewhere around 7 feet tall, 400 something pounds, I don't care to look it up. I think he put him away via TKO faster than he did Sylvia.

Please tell me you are not putting Fedor in the same category as Herring, Couture or Mir. Please, please just tell me this. No man can be so bold. Fedor has faster hands, more polished and solid striking, a ground game that has been unrivaled for years past and years to come and a mental game plan unlike none other. Brock is built out of robotic weight-lifting motion and robotic boxing training. Fedor fights like an animal, he moves like something in the wild, you can not gain these things, you are born with them. Fedor removes himself emotionally from the fight in order to observe and dictate what happens from a different point of view. These are not things that normal people and even people born to fight are born with. Not even the greatest fighters of the past, the Royce Gracies, the Wanderlei Silvas, the Sakurabas have what Fedor has. Fedor is literally, a one in a million person. People are not born like him, you have to understand this. When I go to my gym, I see 10 Brock Lesnar's a day. Collegiate wrestlers with gigantic backs that can bench press upwards of 500lbs without showing any sign of stress - This is not something that can dent a person like Fedor Emelianenko - He is just born different from the rest of us.

There is not one man on the face of this Earth that can beat Fedor Emelianenko. Not one.

The only way Lesnar can get beat is if he gets caught in a lucky submission(frank Mir 1) or get's hit with a "lucky" shot and gets put to sleep out of nowhere.

Otherwise, I see no way how he can get beat, he's too strong for anyone and has great stamina/endurance for a man that weights arounds 280-285(fight night)

How do you think that Fedor's gonna have a problem with the size of a guy who fights at 265, when he's made a career of beating people in the mid to high 300s?

Fedor is a really good advert for the sport. Having someone like Lesnar dominate would just give the impression that sheer brute force wins [no matter how many times you mention that he's a wrestler].
