I realized i might have boxers fracture so i was extra care when throwin my punches avoiding my pinkie knuckle getting into any contact.
so i was sparrin again today all the hardwraps are being used in the gym. I was left with a thin short handwrap, first i was carefull but we traded flurries and yeah i hit em in an angle facing my pinky and hurt like a ****er so it was stopped there.
My question is, ummm is there an effective wrapping technique specially made for this type of injury coz i don't wanna quit boxing imma go nuts if can't go box.
this is the left hand with injured pinkie...

as u can see i cant clinch it so when i jab it hurts because its jutting out of place.

Wait till you get into your 30's and your hand looks like this. I get up in the middle of the night with pain in my hand all the time. I know I will have arthritis pain when I get older.

You need to let the area heal completely. When you are in pain, that's your body's way of letting you know you need to stop.
I always tell my fighters to take it easy on the heavy bag. Everyone likes to try and kill the thing to show how much power they have but that's the easiest way to injur your wrist or get the boxers fracture.
I broke mine and didn't even know it was broken. I went on and on and it got worse and worse.
Just let the thing heal, if you still insisit on going to the gym, just take it easy on the heavy bag and make sure you wrap your hands very well. use 180" wraps and some athletic tape on the pinkie if need be.
Just take it easy and let it heal! Your body will recoop very fast, your young.

yes im takin it easy i also tell my trainer also be easy on the mits but when it comes to sparrin i just can't avoid it. See i can't go slow and easy on dem i must hit back fast to counter and hit coz if i don't i will get pwned they all over my face. So sometimes no matter how i try to avoid getting my pinky in contact it just does specially when it gets hot and we be tradin lots of punches.
I was thinking maybe i should go back to light sparr with some new guys but that thing bores me a lot.
