K-Nan 07-19-2009, 10:59 PM Like who do you kinda know sucks or isn't your usual style of rap, yet you are still diggin?
For me, it's gotta be Jeezy. I think I banged that Thug Motivation 101 for about 6 months straight. Most southern rappers are just too predictable for me.. like all swag and no substance. But Jeezy got something about him that makes me put that ugly face on when I'm bangin his ****.. He might be my favorite driving music. I've been listening to this on repeat lately:

I listen to lil wayne but despite what old heads/backpackers think, i think hes a good rapper. Hes not the best rapper ever and hes not as good as he was a few years ago but hes still makin some good music.

I usually mix in this weird sort of remix on the duggie dance, when I hear it. I had *****es cracking up this weekend.. Goofy as hell but it's kinda cool in a dumb way.

anyways, now that i have given myself due credit...
i am not really ashamed of any of the hip hop that i enjoy. i listen to all different types of hip hop, all of which i enjoy for different reasons, so it's whatever. artists that hip hop heads would likely frown upon that i enjoy when the time and situation is right include Drake, Lil Wayne, and i have a lot of non hip hop artists that i would consider guilty pleasures. like Britney Spears. she had some GEMS on Blackout. real talk...
oh and i love Drake's new video. hilarious.
