Listen i am from a family whos first sport is boxing ....i was brought up boxing....but i am also a fight fan and i do watch mma ...what wrong with that?

mma is a combat sport essentially the same as boxing. These guys train hard and live the life style just like the boxers. Ya, there was a funny clip where it looked like 2 mma guys were naked and humpin' but obviously it was not real. As for no boxers being gay, dont believe it. Griffith is the best known but Im sure there are or were others. Yes mma is battling for the public dollars that boxing generally recieve but its no reason to stoop as low as this in trying to make boxing look better, it just makes us look like asses. I watch the mma stuff on television and I dig it even though the boxing is embedded in my heart. Mma is what it is just the same as boxing is. just remember MMA can only go 5 rounds TOPS...look at boxing...they go 12 rounds and use to go 15...no ****in mma *** could go that far. No MMA *** could go into boxing...but any boxer can learn mma and ****ing dominate plain and simple baby!

Have you seen Lyoto Machida fight? His base is essentially Shotokan Karate, though he's also trained in Muay Thai and is top-notch in Sumo as well, among other things.

He has very good footwork, and has shown good hands as well. I would be interested to hear how he applies to the framework you presented, of a guy with good hands and good movement. If you've seen him fight, I'd be interested to know what you thought.
