Bettman's press conference is a 1pm...that should be when they cancel the season. They gave the PA till 11 to accept their latest offer, though they rejected that one last night. As long as nobody else makes another offer (the NHL said that that last one was non-negotiable) then it should be all over.

I'll pray for the hockey to go if you pray for horse racing to disappear. ****ing horse racing, the sport of kings followed by peasants. If they cut the ammount of horse racing on terrestrial tv they might get some more boxing on the telly of a saturday afternoon :D

Man, I'd love to help out, but when I pray I ask ONLY for forgiveness and to keep my child safe. I never ask for money or material things, etc..I just think its wrong and I cant bring myself to ask for stuff like that (if I was comfortable with it I would have asked God to let the Steelers beat the Pat's in the playoff game!!!! :D ) As long as my kid is healthy and happy..with food and a roof over her head I'm good.

No probs...I was kidding around anyway...though it might have been worth spending a little time praying about the Steelers...might have taken God's attention away from healing T.O. :cool: .

I used to like hockey but not so much anymore. Same with the NBA. Nobody really cared when the NBA players went on strike a few years ago not many people care now about the NHL. It's kind of difficult to sympathize with millioniare players and billioniare owners fighting over money.

I certainly wouldn't waste my prayers on it though.

Oh yeah, this spring buddy, for sure! I loved it too and didnt miss one fight! Last spring was awesome..they had Francisco Bojado, Rocky Juarez, Juan Diaz and many, many more. I really look forward to another series..maybe very soon NBC's website will have info. on this years??
