I'm betting on Shogun to beat Machida. I believe he is the only guy in the division that can beat him.

I've never thought of Machida as a boring fighter, but he isn't very exciting. You're better served watching him if you appreciate fine technique, footwork, and excellent timing.

I've been watching him since he KTFO'd Rich Franklin way back in the day and he is not hype. He's the real deal. People have been going nuts since his last two fights ended in pretty god damn brutal fashion, but he's been solid his entire career.

Unless Shogun can go back to his old ways he he won't last 2 rounds with Machida. If he can manage to rekindle his old form, then it could go either way.

It's not even about him going back to his old ways, he can't. Pride rules played into his hands, unified rules, not so much. And who the **** knows how much gas he'll have in the tank, not alot probably, he'll be begging for the oxygen mask by the 3rd.

well he is undefeated with the best resume in the ufc..... its no hype, hes the light heavyweight champ of the world.... and unless shogun lands a lucky shot, he will lose...... i mean after all, he actually hit forrest griffin, and still lost....
