Thought it was a resonably good show with a good card on display. Main Event was a war between Bell and Papua. Felt like Papua was gonna stop Bell with some very solid counter punches with Bell having the wobbles bad in early to mid rounds.

However Tim showed he was in great shape and was the busier fighter after the 6th and took home a deserved UD. Had Papua been in 12 round shape instead 6 round shape he would have most likely stopped Tim. Bell didn't show last night he was a 'World Class' fighter by any stretch.

Yes, Bell has Cojones of steel, but he needed to look spectacular last night by stopping Papua in 6 and make the alphabet holders take notice. Tim's punches lacked snap, and Papua never looked hurt by Bell's punches. Bell is a guy who'll come straight at you and throw punches and fight in close. He reminds me a lot like Sioni Asipelli.

Agreed.

Bell is a good domestic level fighter with a solid chin and good work rate. What he lacks in skill he makes up for with heart and determination. Unfortunately, this will not be enough to win a proper title. His skill-set is just not world class, nor will it ever be.

Having said that, should he get a crack at a title. I'd be supporting him all the way. Good work Tim.

Without a doubt. The guy does work hard and ate a whole heap of leather and kept coming back. He'll learn from the experience.

Didn't stop working the entire time, took some big shots.

Good luck to him.

Yeah he showed great heart and fitness. He will never trouble a world class fighter though.
