My weekend started out busy, then got crappy, then got awesome!!!

Friday, flags competition. They did soooo much better this week. They got 4th out of 8 teams.

Saturday, fought with hubby.

Sunday, kissed and made up and had our Valentine's Day a day early. ALL is good now!! ;)

they didnt have a choice really, thats why no one asked. curly left, no one knew how to run it, mut didn't have time to, so he sold.

no biggie, imo. now we have a bigger community, more users, more activity in the MMA section (i mean it IS an MMA site...) and we get to hang and chat with new cool people from the boxing scene. Apart from Curly not being here, It's improvement across the board, imo, and Curlys at groundnpound so you can also keep in touch there with him :)

It was a number of things. he poured his money, time and efforts into global endlessly and nothing ever changed. Alot of the stuff he did went unnoticed and unappreciated imo. Some things were said that bothered him at a time when he was on the fence about what to do and i guess it just tipped him to the other side of said fence and the rest is history.

I've already registered at groundnpound as have a coupla ya'll. If that's where Curly is I'll be checking it and him out regularly. This place doesn't suck and Rick Reeno has been very cooperative and considerate with our accounts(post counts, custom text, name changes, etc.)

curly kept this place hopin when everybody got burnt out. it's pretty fair to say he did more than all of us combined. but i think he expected too much for it. people who contributed to the site never did it to be appreciated and we never gave any hint of that. our goal from day 1 was to just support a sport we love while having fun with eachother.

so IMO, curly overdid it, took it & himself too seriously, and burnt himself out in the end. if he's happier now then more power to him. no hard feelins here, i'm happy if my friends are happy.

yet i'd like to **** off those who try knockin curly or mut. curly poured tons of effort and mut poured more money in this site then most of you will ever come across. and it wouldn't have mattered if he announced the problems to OT or not. trust me, if sherwood could raise $$ through member donations, then global sure as **** aint.
