I haven't, but I saw Drago punch one in Rocky IV! I would love to punch one though and if I got the chance would definitely give it a go. Also, I thought they measured power not speed. I guess they have one that does both.

Your right, they do measure power. They have some type of a lazer machine that can measure speed though.

Lazers are cool! But I definitely would punch two different ways. One for speed and one for power to see the effects of both. How much speed is sacrifised for power and vice versa. That would be pretty interesting.

I've knocked out a meteor at the arcades on that punch machine. :D That measured your power although it was a game but the measuring was accurate.

Maybe so, i think it was called Sonic Blastman or something. I went on it with some friends and we started having a competition on who could punch the hardest. We even started taking big run ups at the machine to out power each other. :D

There was a machine at the Santa Monica peer a long time ago.It looked like a heavy speed bag and when u punched it the scale showed how much weight u had behind it Im guessing. Back then I was 15 and weighing about 170 pounds. The needle went all the way around to about 360 pounds. I would like to see one again and see where im at right now i about 225 and probably hit harder now.My friends got to hit it also and the where hitting around the 200 pound mark.
