Considering the tremendous amount of momentum and great fights we picked up in 2007 and 2008, by comparison ; 2009 hs been a pretty lackluster year.
We started the year off on the right foot with great fights like Mosley/Margarito, and Marquez/Diaz.
But injuries, cancellations, and postponements have either cost us some of our better matches this year, or pushed them much farther back than they should've been ; therefore taking away from the overall yearly schedule.
Couple this with the deaths of Jose Torres, Ingemar Johansson, Greg Page, Arturo Gatti, and Alexis Arguello.
:(
Here's hoping the latter half of the year will pick up where the second quarter fell short.
