This thread is for anyone other than Anorak, we all know who he thinks is gonna win :D

I say Hopkins by late stoppage, or extrememly lopsided decision.

The obvious option would be Bernard via UD. If by some chance Bernards skills have declined then Eastman may take it. Ain't it a shame that if Eastman does win people will just say Bernard was past his prime.

Does Eastman have a chance, I might just drop $100 on eastman cause the odds are so wild. Still thinking this over.

Bernard Hopkins TKO10, I think Bernard is going to beat Eastman up and stop him late. Look for B-hop to have a great 20th defense on the 19th.

Eastman should be able to make this into a decent fight, maybe even a close one, but he won't be able to maintain enough consistent pressure over 12 rounds to beat Nard (and he aint gonna be knocking him out).

Hopkins UD12

EASTMAN by split decision

I just can't imagine that happening but anythings possible in boxing. What a great card HBO is giving us, with Hopkins vs. Eastman and Jermain Taylor on the undercard.

who the **** is this eastman guy
i've seen him and he looks like a ****in ape
That would be discgraceful to boxing to have him as the champ

The guy is a B.U.M, he hasn't done anything to be in this position, for some weird ass reason everyone thinks he's a Marvin Hagler. The guy is a bum!! He will get his ass kicked, the guy will prolly win the first round, then B-Hop takes over.

He is not a bum he is a solid fighter but Hopkins will knock him out.

Hopkins UD.
Edouard is my sentimental favorite.
Witter SD.
Kingsley KO 5.
Escobedo KO 1.
I'm kin'a pullin for Eastman, because if he wins the he and Tito will prolly fight. If that turns out to be the case,I pick Tito.

I can't see any other outcome other than Hopkins beating Howard Eastman to a pulp in the main event, but I think the undercard is going to be the highlight of the night. Daniel Edouard will present Jermain Taylor with his hardest fight as a pro, in the end I believe Taylor's overall skill will prove to be too much for Eduard (I also would not be shocked by an upset though.) I believe the fight will be very entertaining and hightly competitive while it lasts. Also I wish HBO would air the Lovemore N'dou/Junior Witter fight, N'dou can hang with anyone at 140 and this will be a chance to see how good Witter really is, myself I would go with N'dou by decison.
