Please be advised that we had the best coders that money could buy working on this project and we were able to accomplish as much as we could in combining the databases of both websites.
Initially we wanted to have two running dual boards running off the same database. After consulting several teams of PHP experts, including two BoxingScene members who are Vbulletin mods, we were told that such a merger was close to impossible.
We were told that even if the process was able to be done, upgrading and further mods to the board would be next to impossible.
In the alternative, we fused the databases of both forums into one forum. This was a complex move and took two days of multiple coders working on the project. Nearly 13,000 users had to be given new IDs, we moved every single one of you guys over. It was important to me and I'm sure to you, to keep your post count and personal forum information in order.
We moved all the posts, threads and boards over as well.
Anyone user who was a mod on these forums, please drop me a PM if you still want to be a mod.
The front end of this website will start to get worked on this week and we hope to have it up very soon.
