i haven't really laid my eyes on the educational background of fighters but those that do excel in their academics and pursued a good boxing career is impressive... VK has a Ph.D, and Marco Antonio Barrera is an attorney... who else is gifted in both sides?

Nicky Piper was a bright lad by all accounts, although I guess you have to be a Brit to have heard of him.

Lol :D

DaVarryl Williamson has a master's degree in business.
Juan Diaz must have a bachelor's degree if he is in law school.

Not sure if they meet the "great" qualification; Diaz is a beltholder, though...
