Soundtraveler 02-12-2005, 05:36 AM Neither, my vote goes to the Montana led 49ers, the "west coast" offense was practically unstoppable back then. Joe Montana led the 80 yard+ drive that led to what is still refered to as "the catch" and capped the Superbowl victory with a record setting 5 touchdown passes in the game. Montana destroyed John Elway in a Superbowl, also took out Dan Marino in another Superbowl, as the 49ers won 3 straight NFL Championships if my memory serves me. Then Steve Young won a couple more after Montana retired, now that is a true dynasty, when the big names retire and you still win the Superbowl... .::|ULTIMATE|::. 02-12-2005, 05:37 AM The Cowboys, they were the **** in the 90's. It seemed like the opposing team always quivered in fear when Deon Sanders got the punt, or Emmit Smith ran the ball. It was awesome. Troy Aikman could take some hits and keep on comin, Michael Irvin at the time was one of the few receivers out there not afraid to dive for the ball. They simply were great. They still have their head coach but they will feel the other losses. Also evey time they win another superbowl the contracts make it so a lot of guys get a lot more money, eventually the team will run out and people will start demanding more, which leads to cuts.
