Ali does better when she moves backward, makes the other girl follow her, and she opens up, if she moved more, this wouldnt be such a close fight.

Ali still looks a lil raw, but riker could probably pull a RJJ or MAB and beat her.

well it is easy to pick Lucia over Laila after watching Laila get "Johnny Ruized" around the ring by a much bigger opponent who can absorb her punches and make her look unspectacular...I am sure trying to put that big girl down tired the heck out of Ali...not to mention that girl leaning all of her weight on Ali whenever Laila landed combos...

Ali fought disgusting last night, she should have KOed that chick in the first round. The other girl was so inexperienced she looked like she didn't belong in the ring. No footwork at all. Rijker was talking alot of **** on Ali last night though. If ali performs against Rijker like she did against Geiggar she will lose, but if she fights like we all know she can, she will sit Rijker down.

ali looked like **** against a fighter who coulen't throw a punch right!! and who walked up to ali begging ali to hit her. and it still took her 8 rounds to win the fight!! pathetic. go rijker.

lucia rijker was asked during the fight, what impresses you about laila..........and said, "NOTHING!!" :D

No kidding! The Nunez chick that fought on the undercard had the same girl knocked out when she fought her! I am disgusted with Ali for fighting a girl that 6-4 anyway...I mean damn, she should have been fighting numbers like that when she was still just starting out. Not when she has 19 wins and a title belt. And her husband/manager is full of **** too...Ali broke the contract with Wolf and I am beginning to doubt she will ever get in the ring with her!

To answer the main question - even though there's a huge weight disadvantage, Rijker would still beat Ali without any problems.

I though the Ali "damage control" about the failed Wolf contract was hillarious. Its obvious when she keeps refering to "her wieght class" she has NO plans of meeting anybody with any talent. How long will this cash cow milk? And why does ESPN keep showing this crap?

It was a joke..it's been public knowledge for a long time that Ali is the one that broke the contract with Wolf (I heard that Wolf was going to sue her to try and get her into the ring!!) and her husband/manager is an idiot. He may be the worst thing thats happened to her career so far! And DAMN if I'd just stand there and let him talk for me!!! She shouldnt have stood for it either! :mad:

For real! Like I posted earlier, I cant understand her fighting a girl thats 6-4, what a joke! She should be ashamed for that, and for celebrating the win after it was over (and the fact that it took her so long to get the girl out of there doesnt look good either!!)

She attractive, but that conceit makes her very ugly to me. Conceit is my biggest pet peeve, and I've tried to ignore hers, telling myself that she got it from her dad, but enough is enough already! :rolleyes: Being a looker doesnt mean you have to brag about being a looker..it cheapens your overall look in my opinion.

Laila knows how good she looks, and how famous she is, and has people telling her how great she is because they're getting something from her, attention, money, etc. when u're on top, after a while u start believing the hype, she thinks she's all that and then u start thinking about what u have to lose and that's where the fear comes in, she's afraid some hungry young contender will bust up her pretty face

laila has not impressed me in the last couple fights, she doesn't impress me in the slightest. she will keep ducking girls that have good skills as long as she can. she's going to keep makin money because she's in a win win situation as far as that goes anyone who beats her can expect to make more with a rematch.

Laila also said that she graded her performance an A. I'd give her an D. She passes because she won but damn she should have had that girl out of there WAY early. She has absolutely no pop on her punches. They all come from her shoulders. She said that she doesn't like to compare herself to her father at this point in his career. She better not. Damn. I have only watched a few women boxing matches but I have to say that knockout by Anne Fox(?) was devastating! If more women boxed like her there would be a bigger market. Also, how does Lucia fight?

from what i've seen of the dutch destroyer - luicia rijker, she'll make Ali lean back, even if Rijker comes in at 140 ( her normal weight) and Ali at 168. The weight doesn't matter, i think rijker is the bigger puncher and definitly more skilled. Ali's never fought someone with that level of skills and whose that hungry for the win. Either the dutch destroyer or Annie Wolf would **** Laila up at this point

Funny how a crappy personality can make anyone ugly lol! And that is not meant to imply that I think she is all that physically, it's just that she seems even uglier each time I se her in an interview lol, and I think Riker would outwork Ali, if they fought, she would be the only woman that Ali has faced that...

A. Has technical skills and...

B. has been in a ring in the past five years, and is still in fighting shape.
