Matt Skelton (22-3, age 42) is now scheduled to fight Francesco Pianeta (18-0-1, age 24) for the EBU-EU (European Union) heavyweight title.

The fight will take place on Saturday, September 19 in Germany.

He's old enough to be Pianeta's Dad.

The european title should have been on the line along with the commonwealth title when skelton fought rogan . This shouldnt be a title fight.

I didn't know it when I made this thread, but Giovanni Lorenzo and Sebastian Sylvester will be fighting for the vacant IBF middleweight title on this same Sauerland card in Germany.

That title is vacant because Arthur Abraham is moving up to super middleweight.

Skelton is knocking on a bit but hes not had as many fights as most fighters would have by the age of 42.

yeah Skelton pissed me of when he changed his mind and didnt put the Euro title on the line in that fight. They should have given someone else a shot at it.
