Short answer: no. No one is as excited as you. Its not that I disagree with you, actually I'm kinda excited too, just not as much as you are.

I kind of hate to see him come back. He took a nasty beating from Trinidad in his last fight, and it's not smart to take too many of those types of ass-kickings. He needs to start worrying about what his life will be like after his career is over, which it pretty much is at this point. This viewpoint probably isn't really popular with slugfest fans (I'm one myself), I just like to see fighters quit the sport with some health and brains left for their dotage.

mayorga is awesome. he has some good fights at 154. he could end up fighting ouma(awesome action fight), wright(interesting matchup, lets see if he puts his chin out for mayorga), spinks(rematch), alejandro garcia(great explosive fight), vargas(latino war), maybe dlh(latino superfight).

I kind of want to see him in action, but not really in a fight where he dominates, I want to see him in a war. He showed alot of heart in the Trinidad fight by not losing his will to fight back when Trinidad was unleashing bombs on him. I like that...when a fighter is getting beat to pulp and he catches his second win and starts throwing some bombs of his own..

P.S. A match-up between him and Ouma would be a dream fight...But I don't know if Ouma would want to get in those kind of exchanges with such a wild hard hitter like Mayorga.

I'm looking foward to it. I love it when he sticks his chin out and lets someone tee off on it. Couldn't believe he done it to Trinidad though. He's almost like a cartoon character. I like cartoons.

_____
hell yeah mayorga has a good chance to do some damage at 154,he can take santos out and if he manages to connect on winky,it will be over... i am looking foward to his return,i hope he is better at this weight and can carry power and do stuff better maybe with time he can get use to it

Mayorgas lack of discipline is why he won't ever amount ot much and his lack of character is why if he does I'll still dislike him. In the words of Howard Cosell, "HE'S A THUG!"

What did he say about Spinx mom?
And he would stay on earth with his family who are living after he wins. What an assholio thing to say.

I could care less about Myorga. Undisiplined, classless individual. Although, I guess I wouldn't mind watching him get his ass kicked again :D

i agree. i also want to see him in an action-packed fight, not some overly dominated bout...

I would love to see him facing Fernando Vargas. Both has showed their warriors capacity in the past. It would be a fantastic slugfest.

I guess the penalty for rape in Puerto Rico is what a weekend? Last I heard this chump was going away for a long time? Whats up with that? The bottom line is this guy will never be a champion again and his 15 seconds are all used up.

No I'm not excited!!

mayorga is a good personality for boxing, he is the bad guy. This helps to sell fights and he is also exciting to watch. He made a bad decision to fight trinidad but he can certanly re-establish himself as a top boxer

I wouldn't mind seeing Mayorga fight again but after the beating he took from Tito you have to wonder how much it took out of him. His pride also took a beating in my opinion because he came out in that 8th round wanting to touch gloves with Tito and to me that was kind of his way of admitting he was beat. I think Tito at least beat a little respect into him just from that.

No way. A fighter as delusional as Mayorga can brush that off easy. He has probably convinced himself by now that he got tired and took a nap. He's stll never been knocked out.

i love this man. there were some pictures floating around the web before the trinidad fight of him in jail (got held over for a night on a now-dropped rape charge) smoking a *** and looking cool - anybody got them?

i dont think he would get killed, he may lose but not killed. His only chance though would be to hit zab just like KT did. Maybe we can see the chicken dance again.

I like Mayorga hes more of an entertainer than a boxer. He brings excitement to the ring regardless if you love or hate him. Vargas-Mayorga would be a slugfest to the end, dont know who would pull through on that one either.

Not true, Mayorga announced his retirement before the fight was even talked about with Trinidad. He said that he wanted to settle down. Then he realized that he needs more money. So here he comes. BTW, I'm really excited about his return. The guy is like an animal. Entertaining as hell.

Actually he will be champion again on May 21, 2005..... Unless you think Castillejo has a chance? I bet he's like :" ****, can I just give him the belt now?"
