to southworths credit, he took a fight that was tossed to him with a huge name at the time.

i think i read it was on short notice too? no?

This was in the middle of fights that vitor had with the likes of herring and matsui, where as southworth was only in some minor gigs against other newcomers.

not trying to make excuses for the guy, but i can understand why he lost. I think people make a bigger deal of it than it was, just cause he's on TUF.
