Wanderlei dominated a much bigger more skilled striker. He should have gotten the decision victory.

Sincerely,
Silva Fan

I'd like to ask for you to mail me some of the crack they smoke out there in Tennessee, cuz from the looks of it, that **** is BOMB. I'll pay for shipping, cuz I understand that those who smoke it as frequently as you must are usually pretty hard up for cash.

Mark was knocking Vanderlei all over the ring. 5 takedown attempts that yield no-damage & stall situations, will NEVER compare to Hunt knocking Vanderlei all over the ring. Recognize. The judges saw that one fairly. Vanderlei laying on Mark Hunt vs. Mark Hunt standing up and throwing bombs. And not just bombs. We're talking BOMBS. Even when they ALMOST hit Vanderlei, he got sent stumbling. He was outstruck, and thusly, outmatched. On the ground, Vanderlei did not damage him anywhere near as significantly.

Do not get caught up in the if's and and's of some kinda "point system". If someone takes me down with a hug that does no damage, it'll never compare to me smashing GOD DAMN FACE on the judge's cards, LEAST of all in Japan. Do not believe that Vanderlei even came close to winning. And if you do, watch the combo Hunt landed in the third. Loop that ****. Watch it 25 times if you have to, then ask yourself "Was Mark ever that hurt?"

I'm high so I'm gonna make this short and sweet.
If the match goes the distance, then the outcome of the bout is determined by the three judges. A decision is made according to the following: the effort made to finish the fight via KO or submission, damage given to the opponent, standing combinations & ground control, aggressiveness and weight (in the case that the weight difference is 10kg/22lbs or more). The above criteria are listed according to priority. The fight is scored in its entirety and not round by round. After the third round, each judge must decide a winner. Matches cannot end in a draw.

Those are from Prides website. Lets break it down and make it easy
1) Effort made to finish the fight via KO or submission.- Hunt tried to knock his ass out, Silva had a few submission attempts including one armlock that was very close to ending the fight. DRAW
2) Damage given to the opponent.- Hunt caused more damage with his striking then Silva did striking or on the ground. HUNT
3) Standing combinations and ground control.- Hunt had the better stand up and Silva had the better ground control. DRAW
4) Aggressiveness and weight.- Hunt threw bombs and Silva got takedowns. Obvious huge weight difference. SILVA

Silva stepped up and fought a K1 champion who had a 45+ lb. weight advantage, took his best shots and took him down and mounted him pretty much at will. His 1 mistake was not going for subs later in the fight after he had got rocked a few times. I think the fight was pretty much even and Silva should have gotten the nod for the weight difference and being the champ. When you're fighting the champ you cannot leave any doubt as to who the winner is and Hunt did.
