Alright, this topic spawns off of the thread on White Noise. This stupid movie really has me thinking, although I admit that I think usually, I think; but this is more focused on the whole contacting the dead type of thing. Have you ever thought about trying various methods to contact spirits, (i.e. Quija board, séance, mediums, etc.)? If you did, what happened; if you never tried it, why not?

Honestly, I don't know. It doesn't scare me now cuz I haven't have the oportunity (?) to do it but maybe, if somebody tell me "Hey, why don't make a ouija?" I wouldn't know my answer....

i used to do ouija board w/ my cousin when we were kids. we asked one of the spirits to possess my dog. he started whining and scratchin at his ear all of a sudden. we laughed.

Well, it was on Halloween night and one of my friends had told me that he had tried it and thatit worked. I had never believed in withcraft or ghosts or any of those type things. So that night me and about 4 other people got together and started playing around with it. The first 30-45 minutes or so, nothing happened at all. I was like, this is such bull**** man, I'm out. The guy then said, it won't work unless everyone in the room really belives and concetrates. So i say to myself, **** it, I'll give it a shot. To make a long story short, we began to contact former realtives and friends who had passed away. At one point, two of the girls who were cousins contacted their dead grandmother and got all upset, crying and ****. I tried it with my g/f and spoke to my grandfather and a close friend that had passed. As skeptical as i wanted to be, I couldn't deny what was happening as i knew I wasn't moving that damn thing and I also knew my g/f(who was majorly religous and honest) wouldn't have been moving it either to mess with me. Everyone freaked and I don't thnk any of us have messed with one again. Also, when I was contacting my friend, he was answering ?'s that only me and him knew about, so that night convinced me.

There's so many methods... I wonder why the ouija board is the most popular?

Easy access.

Yea those damn things are everywhere... Toys-R-Us used to sell them, although I'm not sure if they still do today... nonetheless they are the most accessible, you're right.

I was playing with a ouija board once. I ask it if I would even have sex and it pointed to "no", I ran out of the room screaming and pulling me hair out while crying like a little girl.
