Just posted this in another thread so i thought i'd paste it here as well to get the discussion going...

these are just my opinions and im not as up to date with cricket as i use to be.. no doubt woftam and infesta will have some thoughts...

i really can't believe people are predicting a white wash for us..

our bowling stocks are ****ing laughable right now.. johnson is our only form bowler and while i think he'll have success with his left arm swing on your nice grassy decks.. he's ****ing erratic and he's going to have an underdone lee bowling half volleys or an inexperienced siddle bowling long hops and letting the pressure off from the other end.

as for our spinners.. well don't even get me started.. hauritz? as our only spinner on tour? the cunt doesn't even turn it and got slaughtered by one of your county sides if i'm not wrong.. **** me.. you may as well have north or clarke bowling their offies and pick another seamer.

our batting.. well **** me.. our best bat is a 21 year old who's played maybe half a dozen games in england? mind you he's had some success.. but still.. ponting and hussey haven't seen form in years.. katich is a solid player, but we'll need more than 30s and 40s at teh top of the order from him.. north and haddin will chip in and johnson will have the tail wagging every now and then.. but i don't see a single player in our side to anchor the side for big totals.

i've sort of fallen off with cricket lately, but i'm hoping your side isn't doing any better? did you maybe just have some good results against the windies?

i think straus as captain is in our advantage.. cunt doesn't even seem to try against us.. same with that miserable looking cunt, bell.. flintoff is injured/out of form too isn't he? how's that bopara?

i tell you what.. i'd give my left nut to have warney back in the team.. and i'd probably give my right nut for mcgrath.. those cunts both had a bowling average of 20 in the ashes.. that's unbelievable isn't it?

anyhow i predict a tight series.. 2-1 either way.. hopefully to us if pietersen doesn't impose himself

I quickly skimmed through it, but Brett Lee looks very good in this warm-up match (averaging over 91mph) and taking 6 wickets in the 1st innings. Whereas that batsmen (i think you're on about Hughes) has struggled badly against Harmison's bounce.

You boys gonna go with two spinners again? They are tops.

Monty will play as a specialist batsman in the second test replacing Alistair ****, with Harmison coming in.

That was a big mistake. But onions got a 5 wicket haul at his last lords test and Harmy could also be back in the team. I fancy us to win this one.

I would play Panasar but they will go with Swann because he can bat too.

I wouldn't bother with a spinner if I were England. Both of them are just horrible. They make Hauritz look like a reincarnation of Warnie.

England will get owned in this series.

The ignorant amongst us would tell you that the aussies are weak right now but the fact is there is NEVER a "bad" australian team, some are just not as great as others. England on the other hand rarely has even an above average team, like right now.

Aussie 3-1 i think with england winning the last, meaningless test.
