Hoping for redemption in his next UFC appearance, Vitor Belfort talks about the upcoming bout against Tito Ortiz, scheduled for February 5th.

ADCC News - How are you training for the fight against Tito?
Vitor Belfort - Well, this time I want to develop my psychological condition. Doctor Jacob Pinheiro, a specialist in sport psychology who used to work with [Brazilian car racing] Ayrton Senna, is helping me. Doctor Jacob will transform the hate that I feel about Ortiz into some kind of energy to defeat my opponent.

ADCC News - Why do you hate Tito Ortiz? VB - I think he is very arrogant. Ortiz thinks that a fighter from the United States of America is better than one who comes from the Third World, like me. I will show him that I’m very proud to be a Brazilian.

ADCC News - Your first son will probably born in February. Can it take you out of focus of the fight against Ortiz? VB - I don’t believe so. My wife is going to be a great mother. She will help me with the baby, while I’m working. I’m 100% focused in the fight against Ortiz.

when did Tito ever knock fighters from 3rd world countries?? if belfort's tryin to hype up the fight then he sucks at it. leave the **** talkin to tito.

That's the first thing I thought about when I read this, just pre-fight promoting. I wish the fight was tonight so Tito can go ahead and win his decision so Vitor can then go to Pride and get his ass kicked in a rematch with Vandy.

yeah thats kinda stupid. ive never heard tito talkin **** about third world countries. afterall, the hb bad boy sports an american AND a mexican flag when entering the cage.

Tito did tell Belfort that he was gonna "knock him back to the third world, partner", but this was way back when Tito was Champion.

I want both of them to lose, so they can go to Pride and face Wandie and the rest of them. I doubt Tito will ever go, but it is a possibility.
