I was Calzaghe vs Roy online match, and I beat the **** out of my opponent and ended up Knocking Roy out. Then that same user wanted to play me again, and I choose Calzaghe again and he choose Adamek and he beat my ass for 10 rounds but I didn't end up knocked out like he was when I knocked Roy out. He did however knock me down in the adamek fight. And right before the bell rang, he almost knocked me down again but it was too late for him to do so. Is adameks reach longer then calzaghes? His jab was getting to me before my jab was getting to his, either he just had better timing or Adamek might have longer reach then Calzaghe Idk. Just glad that I made it out without getting knocked out by Adamek.

I'm still not liking the control though, because the most convenient punch to throw with the analog stick was the jab for the most part. But yes the games fun but controls are difficult especially when it comes to throwing uppercuts. Thats the least punch I throw and seems like the ppl I play online don't throw that punch often either.

I fought this idiot last night who was marvin hagler, I picked sugar ray robinson (first time I ever picked him).

This guy did nothing but haymakers to the body. The funny thing is hagler is pretty damn slow with haymakers so you could see them coming a mile a way.

I just jabbed him in the head every time he began to **** his hand back. I proceeded to do this for 3 rounds just to see what he would do about it. You'd think after getting you're ass kicked you'd change up ur style, nope the dumb ass just sits there, keeps doing haymakers to the body, even if i'm on the other side of the ring he's still haymakering away. Every now and then he'd try to be cute and haymaker to the head. lol. Finally decided to put him out of his misery and countered him a few times until he couldn't get up anymore.

What's funny is the guy had a pretty decent online record.

Oh also when I got close he was using a Fight Night Round 3 strategy which is to spin around in circles. lol, the problem is that doesn't work on fight night round 4 so i just hit him over and over.

I have a lot of wins but I will talk about a loss I had.

I originally had Cotto but then saw opponent went on Victor Ortiz. So I decided to be fair and also pick a jrWW (Cotto would have had a big advantage over Victor). So I clicked on Vivian Harris and then the guy goes up one fighter really quickly and choses SRR.

Anyway, I rush in to see how well he is on the inside because I know he has reach, height and speed advantage on me. I'm doing good on the inside in terms of landing more and better shots, counters hooks and uppercuts as opposed to his jab right right right right right jab.

Anyway after 30 seconds I see that even his weak **** is killing me so I decide to back up. I start boxing him and use haymakers to make him respect me and slow him down from straight charging in on me. I score a flash knockdown in the 2nd round with a haymaker.

I don't know how but I am up on the cards going into the 9th but **** me if my stamina and health are crap. Opponent is about 3/4 health and about 1/2 stamina. I'm about 1/5 on each. I hear Atlas say that SRR won the last round and that he has him winning slightly. I'm like "**** me I gotta actually win these last 2 rounds". So I go out set traps for him and counter one of his haymakers with a haymaker uppercut. He stumbles and I go in for the kill or at least a KD but the son of a ***** headbutts me and now my guy is stunned because my energy was so low. I get dropped and get back up and box again and pick my shots and keep him at bay with fear of haymakers.

I hear in the announcer say that I have to go for KO. So I go for it even though I have squat for health or stamina and mix it up with the guy and get KO'd. After the fight I saw that I was leading by 3 points going into the damn 9th. I could've freaking boxed the last 2 rounds. ****ing Teddy Atlas........he probably picked me to win thats why I lost.

Have any of you mastered the uppercut yet? Because that is the least punch I've seen people throw online. And I have problems throwing it when I want to throw it.

I just went Whitaker vs. Corales. He spammed the right hand over and over. I used Sweat Pea's head movement and countered him for 9 rounds until I eventually knocked him out.

Don't it feel good beating someone online!?

The uppercut is much easier to land than the hook. The hook goes around the back of the head alot, the uppercut is more powerful and easier to land IMO.

I find it easy to use, but I used the sticks on FN3 so I'm not sure what the button users think.

The signature move is impressive because the punches they throw in their signature move are the ones they really do in the fights. Calzaghe fights alot like himself in this game with high workrate and his signature move feels like Calzaghe. I wish they had Kessler, or Lacy in this game since the boxing cabs are quite **** in this game and the kesslers people have made look nothing like kessler.

Have you used the photo fight creator feature? I made a relative who I took pictures of and it came out very well. I am just looking for suitable pictures to make Israel Vazquez, JuanMa, Trinidad, Vic Darchinyan, Raf Vazquez and Kosta Tzu

If you could me a kessler and lacy that actually look like them that would be cool, and how do I delete boxers from the ps3 version? Because I can't download and add anymore boxers since I downloaded and added alot of them but now it says I ran out of slots which is bull crap. I have 80 gigs worth of memory on my ps3, how did I run out of slots and how do I delete certain boxers?

Sure its actually the toughest part is finding the adequate pictures for it. The best pictures are Passport type pictures. Straight headshots with no expression and then one profile shot.

This picture here is no good because one side is shadowed and its at an angle.

This one can work for the front pic and the 3rd is the side picture

i knew it bro. all these button mashers were *****ing at first, but i knew once they started mastering the sticks they wont want no damn buttons. when it requires skill to play the game is way more fun, and if the buttons were around they wouldnt realize that.

Do some unranked ones first, I didn't want to do a ranked game until I won 2 unranked games in a row, I did it and then I went online and now i'm 3-0. George Foreman FTW. :boxing:

I fought a guy yesterday in world championship i was floyd and he was the biggest middleweight you could make, and all he did was throw the straight right and body punches non stop. So i fought on the outside coming in throwing 2-3 punches and then backing off and looking for the counter when he had me pinned against the ropes. I won on points, so he decides to send me a message saying i fight like a ***** and don't know how to play the game. :lol1:

I was playing some kid whos record was like 60 wins and 70 losses. It was only like my 6th fight (I only have like 10) and I was schooling this kid. He drops his guard and lets me tee off on him in the 4th round until he goes down and lets me KO him. He then sends me a message saying he let me win and that he has no time to be chasing newbs lol. I sent him back a messaging just laughing and saying bro I outsmarted you and frustrated you until you quit and when your stamina started getting low you quit to avoid being knocked out in a few rounds.

Also I was playing some kid who was like 1-9 lol I was beating his as$. My game froze. I had to turn it off. Came as a loss on my record. Not only that but then the kid sends me a message calling me a pus$y lmao. He won't give me a rematch though.

I just had the best/toughest fight I've had so far. I'm 9-0 on world champ mode. I came accross some guy who's had over 40 fights and only lost 10. He was in my face the whole fight and knocked me down. He wouldn't let me box on the outside. He had me in the last round and I held on. Score cards all read 95 - 94 in favour of me. Wow that was a good fight. I'm sweatin lol

I actually prefer fighting the spammers now. The toughest fights I've had are against good boxers or inside fighters. Spammers are easy for me now, I have knocked them all out by the 6th round.

I got my first loss on world champ mode. I was 13-0 and I was in the last round ****in about with somebody I was easily beating. Then he got the flash KO, and came after me like a mad man straight after.

I thought I was unstoppable lol

I like coming across really big heavyweights with massive frames and super long reaches against my little atheletic light heavyweight in the world championship... Im 5-0 right now and the last win i had was against a tall 275lbs "block jerker/spammer" with a 60-24 rec.

Is it me... or are they really easy to hit? i haven't come across a small H/W

Mine is 6'6", 246 lbs. People struggle to hit me. Average connect percentage against me is like 45%.

The left uppercut is my favorit punch from close/mid range. When I am on the inside I like throwing right uppercuts.

just had my best fight online.

i was shane mosley the person i fought who was ranked about 2500 places above me was manny pac.

i won the first 2 rounds boxed his ears off. then he decides to spam the body and run like hell from round 3 onwards.

comes to round 7 with me mixing it up and attacking the body aswell as his cut.

come to round 8 atlas some rubbish about manny's cut perhaps thats what made him/her stop running so much. eventually get the knock down. he gets up just about and bang down again. Win by KO.

The guy/girl played like a ***** so deserved to go down like a *****.

I won a ranked match this morning with my created boxer against someone who was Pernell Whitaker while a girl was pleasuring me. Knocked him out in the 7 or 8th I think.
