I saw a gorgeous sunset last night and happened to have my digital with me. I never expected it to catch the true colors of the sunset, but it did.

I plan on it. Our family room is being redecorated...slowly...and this will fit in with the theme. My new printer is AWESOME at printing photos. That was the most vivid picture. I took 31 of them when I wasn't just standing there admiring the beauty of it all. You can't tell in most of the pics, but the water is visible. I love living so close to the ocean.

It looks almost as if you used a tripod to take that picture with how straight the horizon line is.

Nope....I held it up with my own two hands. I usually don't carry the tripod around. I took the camera with me because on my home from the school, there is a beautiful view of palm trees swaying in the breeze with snow covered mtns in the background. I wanted to catch that on film. I got home too late for that....so I'm going to try again today.

Very nice. That's one thing I remeber from my trip out to HB was the sunsets.

Thanks...but it was really the camera I think. It's easy to use....lol Mother Nature at her best as well.

Missouri has one thing that we don't....changing of the leaves. I only wish my road trip was in the fall so I could see that again.

That's probably my favorite thing about living in NC. It's warm 9 months out of the year, so we get just enough cold weather to enjoy. Drive a few hours west during the fall and the trees are so beautiful along the foothills and mountains.

Beautiful!! I remember when I were in Ibiza, there is a coffe-bar with Chill-out music in the beach where you could see very nice sunsets...

BTW the DJ of this place is Jose Padilla (A chill out music guru)

that pic's AWESOME!! i saw that sunset too cause i'm on the 2nd floor now. ours was more red but that's probably cause all the smog here. i'm right across the street from john wayne airport.

Thanks. I think you're right on why you were more red. We have a lot less smog down here, but it's building up again. Anytime I look around, that brown haze is there...it's really apparent tonight. We need a strong wind or some rain (ACK!) to wash it away.

We just had the lens assembly unit replaced on the camera, that's why I think it shocked me that it captured the true colors.

Tonight's sunset....we have had some nice ones lately. I love it.
