I did, it looks pretty cool. Leben will win I think, but he is an *******. He didn't have to piss on that one dudes pillow. That wasn't cool.

It looked just like that WWF Tuff Enough (http://www.wwe.com/shows/smackdown/toughenough/recap/) show. Too much time showing the drama and not enough time on training. Maybe next week will be better. They might have did that so you get to "meet the guys" I wasn't impressed with the first episode.

It was cool letting people see what it's like training the little they did show. A lot of people don't realize how hard you go at it in training. Chris Leben owned. Nathan and Forrest will be tough to beat. Nathan gets my pick just cause he's in Couture's training video..

I don't like Leben. Well he was funny and all but other than that not impressed.

I was cooking when the show was on. who finished the run? If it was Leben I'm impressed cause he was SMASHED the night before.

I think Forest Griffin and Diego Sanchez will win. Both guys are really good. Tho looking at the training footage i expected more.

Also from the preview of next week it looks like Leben gets kicked out for breaking the rules.

I liked the show, tho more training footage would be nice.

I dunno about you guys, but I dunno if i would have been content with being on team chuck. I like chuck he is a gtreat fighter and i'm sure a great guy but man i woulda killed to be on team randy.

and do you think that chuck and randy will be coaching or just figure heads?

how did CHuck get both Forest and Diego? Both are the frontrunners to win (by poll opinion)

I hadn't read too much about it before actually watching it. I was surprised to see Bobby Southworth and Chris Leben since they have extensive MMA records (Bobby has even fought Belfort in Pride).
I thought I was watching the Surreal life for a minute, but I guess they have to follow the same "reality show" format in order to bring all the **** who like those shows.

I kind of sucked the way they were ripping on the goofy canuck... It reminded me of Creed.

Is there going to be a replay of the show? I forgot to watch it.

That's going to be rough on those guys. No contact with women and she's popping in wearing tight dresses and ****. They'll all be offering her Jiu Jitsu lessons.

Unfortunately, they'll be doing EXACTLY the same thing they did with Tough Enough: all about the DRAMUH~! and not enough about what hte people that tune in want to see: the training.

Mr' Stewart has nailed it.

He nailed it from our perspective, Curls. But the majority of ****e TV's audience is not into training... They gotta give them waht they want, that is why they got fotage of Leben pissing on the Canuck's bed and Willa Ford's fine ass.

*******s pissing on people's faces, confrontation, fights, and hot *****es is more appealing to the general audience than guys training. This **** is gonna turn into a soap opera where Leben is the "bad guy".

I never thought for a second that this was gonna be any different.

I know what you're saying but I was expecting more than the cookie cutter "real world" format. I guess we all started watching mma for the blood and violence but later grew to appreciate the athletes and the dedication it takes,

This show is not gonna do much for the sport. I doubt any reality show is gonna do anything for any cause.

Can't knock Zuffa for trying, though.

I think this show can be a success. People are looking for tangable things. Bigger PPV numbers, more people posting, HUGE raitings.

Honestly, this shows biggest advantage is its time slot. Its right after WWE. How many of you came over from pro wrestling? I did. I am sure a lot of you did also. This is going to be the perfect time to convert more pro wrestling fans.

Then we go back to the guys who can run their mouths get the matches (Baroni) and the skilled guys (Rizzo) who just do their job don't get on cards.

Thats combat sports in America. Its not just the UFC. Mike Tyson could still out draw any HW in boxing, dispite the fact that he isn't even a top 30 fighter anymore. Its always going to be that way because of American mentality. NOT because we are drawing new fans from pro wrestling.

More people interested in MMA, the better. If this show can bring in enough new interest to cover the cost of producing it, then its all good in my books.
