View Full Version : would white sign lashley to fight lesnar? BALLISTIC 06-28-2009, 03:25 AM since they both came from wwe and both same itnitals.. and both are good wrestlers?? JoeKickAss 06-28-2009, 03:57 AM Lashley isn't that good, but if he improved a lot I wouldn't be surprised if it came about down the line. It would make the UFC a lot of money. Move BRICKS™ 06-28-2009, 09:59 AM Simply put, Dana White will sign Lashley after Brock loses his title. Rocky... 06-28-2009, 10:10 AM Would love to see them fight, lesnar destroys him tho :boxing: xzworks 06-28-2009, 10:13 AM pls no..it will look fake even its a real fight... Naps 06-28-2009, 10:28 AM I'm not so sure Lesnar would destroy Lashley. I think they are pretty evenly matched. Lesnar has the better names on his record so far, but they are very similar fighters. GroundSt.Pound 06-28-2009, 11:34 AM Sorry, but I'm not convinced by Lashley yet. Sapp is a sideshow clown. Lashley's Chin, Stand-Up and Ground Game off of his back is still a question mark. Lashely is also nowhere near the caliber of wrestler that Lesnar is. There is a HUGE difference between an NAIA Champion and NCAA Champion James 420 06-28-2009, 12:04 PM Sorry, but I'm not convinced by Lashley yet. Sapp is a sideshow clown. There is a HUGE difference between an NAIA Champion and NCAA Champion Your right, there's also a huge difference between an NCAA champion and an Olympic gold medalist, that doesn't mean I'd take Kurt Angle over Lesnar. One big difference is Lashley competed at about 180 lbs as an amateur and Lesnar as a heavyweight. I think that gives Lesnar an advantage over Lashley. If Lashley keeps winning, the fight will happen with huge cross-over fan support and it will be the highest gross money wise for a UFC pay-per view ever. Thats why it will happen. DarchinyFAN 06-28-2009, 12:15 PM Considering the lack of depth in the Superheavy division in MMA, it wouldnt surprise me if Lashley got the call. Even if hardcore fans knew it was a farce, the UFC could promote the hell out of it, and make the casual fan think Lashley had a shot. It would alienate the hardcore fans, but where are they going to go?:spank: Not Monty 06-28-2009, 12:59 PM If Dana White thinks he can make money off it- he will do it. He openly mocked Lesner and Kimbo as jokes when other orgs courted and signed them, then changed his tune once he got his hands on 'em and promoted the hell out them as MMA monsters. The same would go for Lashley. Move BRICKS™ 06-28-2009, 01:31 PM Sorry, but I'm not convinced by Lashley yet. Sapp is a sideshow clown. I think they are pretty evenly matched. Lesnar has the better names on his record so far, but they are very similar fighters. totally agreed. I don't understand how ppl can say that Lesnar would destroy him or that lashley isn't that great. Lashley and Lesnar are mirror images of each other when it comes to pre-mma credentials and physical attributes. Blair_Wells#32 06-28-2009, 02:48 PM not until Lashley drops his contract with TNA wrestling..... an he could have been in the ufc already if he just signed on to the ultimate fighter. Harms 06-29-2009, 02:10 PM Lashley has already said he will sign with the UFC when he thinks he is ready for the title. Dude is humble, and he trains with ATT, so eventually I think he will be a force to be reckoned with. Hell, he already has as many fights as Brock and he has only been fighting for 6 months. Left2theliver 06-29-2009, 02:17 PM If Lashley was as popular and would bring in a lot of good money and ratings then yes... kswizzy99 06-29-2009, 02:57 PM If Lashley was as popular and would bring in a lot of good money and ratings then yes... lashley isn't as popular as lesnar but he is still very popular. lashley vs lesnar would probably be the highest rated UFC ppv(not inlcuding ufc 100) if it happened. BALLISTIC 07-05-2009, 02:50 AM i actually see lashley putting up a fight with lesnar.. lashley is just as strong...i wouldnt know who to pick.. people would favor lesnar..but ur talking about 2 big guys who can move not only that..both are married to former wwe divas..LOL |
