I say not too many. The powers that be will try to keep him around as long as possible but I see someone submitting him and him being sent home a failure again. There is no way he wins the whole thing unless he manages to never be taken to the ground and KOs everyone they put in front of him.

Well even if he loses in the first fight he'll be still in the house for the rest of the season. The only fight I can actually see him winning is against Wes Sims just because Sims is the type of delusional moron that would play to Kimbo's strength's.

and how will they go about keeping him around longer than necessary?????

btw, I think he loses his first fight.

Not very long, IMO

IDK if the roster has been posted yet but here it is.

Doesn't look like he's going to fair too well

Kimbo Slice: The Street Brawling Youtube Star.

Roy Nelson: Former IFL heavyweight champ who is known for his unathletic looking build.

Matt Mitrione: Former NFL player and MMA new comer. Trains with UFC fighter Jake ‘the Blanket’ O’Brien.

Wes Sims: Went 0-3 in the UFC a few years ago, but never got much further.

Marcus Jones: NFL defensive end from 1996 to 2002. Training MMA since 2007.

Jim York: New Zealand Mixed Martial Artist who knock James Thompson at one time.

Wes Shivers: Former NFL player and a late replacement for Rex Richards, also a former NFL player.

Justin Wren: A very large man who has an impressive wrestling background.

Mike Wessel: Wessel made it into the UFC by accepting a fight on a week’s notice. He lost, but was given a spot on TUF as a consolation prize.

Zak Jensen: Wrestler out of Minnesota who has a 7-3 record with losses to TUF alumni Brad Imes and Mike Whitehead.

Abe Wagner: An unknown fighter out of Nebraska with a 6-2 pro record

Scott Junk: Another fighter who was unsuccessful first time the UFC gave him a shot back in 2007.

Jon Madsen: A brand new fighter out of Matt Hughes’ gym

Darrill Schoonover: A US Army veteran who boasts a 10-0 pro and 5-0 amateur record.

Brendan Schaub: Trains out of Greg Jackson’s gym and is a Shane Carwin sparring partner.

Tom Blackledge: 8-6 fighter out of Michael Bisping’s camp.

Darrill Schoonover is the one I'm looking out for. The guy doesn't look like much but he is a beast in the ring/cage. In reality he could and probably should make 205. The guy isn't a big HW and he wouldn't even be that big at LHW.

You can find a fight or two of the NFL guys on Youtube.
They didn't impress me much although one of them is very big I think Kimbo is safe as far as they go.

I think he will make it to at least the last show if the coach protects him and give him good match ups.

I'm sure Dane would like to see him last a few weeks before getting KTFO, just for the ratings.

yeah I'm looking out for him as well. I haven't seen him fight but just by looking at his record, it seems that he has good overall skill and should be the favorite to win TUF. he might lose due to size disadvantage but I'm sure he would do better if he could make the LHW division.

No way in hell he can beat ROY NELSON.
ROY NELSON beat FRANK MIR in submission tournament!

His best opponent so far was his last one Rex Richards. Richards only other loss was to Shane Carwin. Plus he was 6'5 and 265+ lbs on the night in comparison to Darrill who is 6'2 and walks around at 218lbs. He stopped him in 4 winning a title in the process.

He's my choice to win but then again Roy Nelson is another who will probably float under the radar and get into contention as well.

I didn't even realize that Jim York is in this, I'm rooting for him. Always like to see islanders brawl.

Are they going to fight to get into the house?

HW is not a flourishing division right now. They could only come up with 16.

Ever since season 4 every fighter except Danzig is a bum with bum skills.

Kimbo will win every fight by KO and win it all. He will be the only one with any real experience. It will be like fighting all those street fights all over again.

Kimbo will get a KO to enter the house. No one will fight him and if they do they will be scared ****less and get KTFO anyways.

yeah, those are probably the best 2 fighters in TUF next season. although I'm not too impressed wtih Nelson. but as unimpressive as he is, Nelson would still murder Kimbo Slice.

They will not make Kimbo fight early. I can almost guarantee it.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, but " the coaches make the matches," reality tv, whatever... It will be fixed so that Kimbo doesn't fight until at least midway through the season.

They are using him on the f**cking commercials, for Christs sake. You honestly think they wont milk that for as long as they can? Hell, no. Just in case he loses, they will arrange that Kimbo not be matched up until the tail end of the first scraps, thus ensuring viewers will stick around to see how Kimbo fares.

I'll even go one further, not only will Kimbo not have one of the first few fights, he will also, for his first fight, be matched up easily agaisnt one of the scrubbier guys. He wont be fighting Nelson, Schoonover, or possibly guys like Jensen & Sims, etc in first round.

as long as they put him in with another brawler who has no ground game, he could win a couple fights... otherwise, he'll be made to scream and tap by a blue belt in BJJ

wes sims is a beast!

I will be very surprised if Kimbo gets passed him should they fight.

Win or lose, Kimbo will get into the UFC. I think fans would pay to see him fight Lesnar just for laughs and giggles.

i doubt he even make it past his first fight.im sure he'll get some camera time though win or lose. just cause fighters get knocked out of the running dont' mean they'll stop putting him on camera.
i also doubt they'll try and fix anything up to get him closer to the finals, its the UFC not Elite XC so he won't get any special treatment.

I bet you they'll try to cherry pick his first opponent.

I dont see how people can count him out. C'mon, the candidates for TUF aren't even better than Kimbo. They are either at his level or below. None of them have the same power, thats for damn sure.

Ever since tuf 4 the only other great fighter was Mac Danzig. Besides that, no one even knows the basics of combat. They are really like how boxing fans describe MMA guys; bar fighters.

Mac Danzig is one of the worst fighters to win TUF in the history of the show. The guy has never had a significant win over anyone in his career, pre or post TUF. I'd take any of the winners of TUF in a fight and pick them over him every time.

Depends on how fit he comes for the show. I don't think you guys are giving Kimbo any respect. Like him or not, the fact that he took White's challenge by appearing on the show shows the type of man Kimbo is.

He could have opted to go another more easy route with probably a lot more money but he chose to call White out on his challenge.

He's not the most polished fighter of the bunch but I think he has KO power and a punchers chance. If he come in good shape for the show I think he could surprise some people.

I give Kimbo the man respect. Kimbo the professional fighter has no respect from me. Even more so now after reading Bas Rutten's interview on him.

And he's one jab away from getting KO'ed himself and one leg trip/takedown from being in deep waters. Fact is the opponents he has had are has beens or never was guys. He hasn't been in there with anyone that has good skills in any one area let alone all areas. Put him in there with a wrestler and he's getting dumped on his head. Put him in there with a BJJ player and he's getting choked. Put him in there with a better striker and he's getting KO'ed as with Seth Petruzelli who isn't even a heavyweight.
