Right now, there is not a credible champion in the division. This is not the case in most divisions, where multiple champions are credible.

To rank the champions in Lt. Heavyweight right now would be worthless as well, with Tarver and Johnson getting stripped.

It makes sense to rank the fighters for the purposes of belts, etc., but to quabble over who's "trashier" than the others is just a sign of how terrible the division is right now and devoid of great, or even champion-caliber fighters.

WBC - yes, we've discussed this.

IBF - yes, the man who actually won his last fight probably lost his last 2 prior. He doesn't deserve to hold a belt right now, but there are so many, there's a number of scrubs calling themselves champ.

Including Danny Williams, James Toney, and Larry Donald once we move past the big 4.

There is also the Ring magazine champion, which is supposed to be very prestigious, isn't it?
