I just got back from the Doctor's his yesterday. They're still doing tests but it looks like I'll be out for my fight on February 12th in Kentucky. I'm still having pain in my chest that is causing me problems training. I woke up yesterday morning and it was inflamed from training last night so I went to have it checked again and they told me to take it easy and let it heal for a few weeks.
I emailed the promoter and hopefully I'll get on a card in April. It's nothing severe but it's something I need to take care of so I can be 100% and not just half ass training because of the pain.
I've tried to fake my was through it because I was looking forward to the chance to get back in the ring after my loss in August. From what I was told, I should only be out for two weeks but that's not enough time to get ready. I've lost a lot of weight and stamina and won't be able to gain it back in time for my fight.
I apologize to everyone who was planning on making the trip. I know I've let a lot of people down including myself but this is something out of my control.
Thanks and again I'm sorry for any problems this has caused.
