View Full Version : Will boxing ever be on BBC again?

Do you think it will? With all the young UK talent (real talent, not Audley Harrison) I'd like to see it happen.
Is there any promoter working on this, or even an ITV deal for next year?

Haven't a clue, wish it would.
I've heard of the bbc selling coverage but never buying stuff. Strange really since we pay the licence fees yet they still sell stuff off.

So instead of selling it should they prevent themselves from making money by hoarding media assetts? Sounds like that would be more stange no matter how the customer pays for this BBC, and not selling doesn't benefit customers in any way.
As for BBC's boxing coverage, they skipped 2 rounds out of the Vargas V Oscar fight which they showed the following day at lunchtime. Adrian Chiles was chatting **** too during his presentation of the fight. At other times they showed high profile fighters the following Sunday at 1am. If they put boxing back on the menu, it better be live and in full or we're better off having them fights on Sky
