Before the travel to Japan in the Christmas Day, next Saturday 25/12, World-wide Champion of PRIDE Wanderlei Silva intensifies his training at the Chute Boxe Academy in Curitiba to be ready for the Event of New Year day, at the Saitama Super Arena in Tokyo.

In the photos we can see the heavy training of grappling and defense as well as the force of the kicks of the Wanderlei. The Athlete has everything to close the year of 2004 with gold key, after one season that served to prove his supremacy in the Middleweight category of PRIDE, keeping the Belt of the Event and looking for to complete one more year with no defeat.

Looks like he's working hard on his ground game, but I gotta feeling that Sakuraba is gonna wanna stand with him. I dont know why, but that was his gameplan going into the 2nd and 3rd fight with Silva. Silva kicks ****ing hard, I have that DVD The Sparring Chronicals, he's working out with his trainer doing some pad work, he kickes the leg pad so hard it nearly took the guy off his feet.....

Sak must have screwed someone's wife at DSE, why else would they let this happen. I know the old "it's MMA, anything can happen" but DAMN.

Sak wanted the fight, not DSE, they wanted him to fight Ryan or another Gracie I cant think of at the moment....

I'll just go make a sammich when this fight comes on and wait for my wife to yell "OH MY GOD HE'S DEAD" like the Rampage fight

Pride won't let it happen. They'd rather have Ryan run up his record against B-level Japanese fighters.
If Ryan actually got into the ring against any top 10 guy, he'd get ****ing KILLED.

If sak does win he should retire from mma the very next day.

If Sak does win I hope they find the "foreign object" he used.

It just seems like the more they fight the more likely Sak will get lucky and win
