I have a friend in OH i can stay with about 8.5 hours from me. and it would break the trip up in 2... leave 2 days before fight, stay with him, drive to fight area, stay with someone, and drive back to his place after fight day, then home the next. 4 or 5 day trip....

I'm not going to have a lot of time to hang out before the fights. There's usually an after party in one of the bars in the hotel. (Yes there are three bars in the hotel) I'll be there afterwards. I don't mean to sound ungrateful or stuck up, I just HAVE to win this fight.

Get a couple of local fights first. He's had some Canadians come down and were paid for travel but you have to be really good to get that kind of travel money.
He's not going to pay for a guy with one amateur fight.

Lexington is a small airport. You would have to fly to Louisville and drive the rest.
