Silva's next match against Griffin is here in Philly.
Tickets are 200-400 for cheap seats. So I wont be going.

Went to UFC 56 in Vegas (met Georges St. Pierre, Sean Sherk, Ken Shamrock, Matt Hughes, Pat Miletich, Rich Franklin Nate Quarry, David Loiseasu, Thiago Alves, seats were okay)
Went to UFC 45 at Mohegan Sun (the arena was far from sold out and the seats were pretty good, met Frank Trigg, BJ Penn, Chuck Liddell and Phil Baroni)

Was planning on going to UFC 101 but I don't have the money.

If you want to go for "the experience" then it's great but it's hard as hell to see what's going on in the cage. You have to constantly look up at the big screen.

Next UK event I think I'll go. I'm prepared to pay for ringside if it's a good card also.

yeah, it depends on the seats your in. i have sit up high, and its hard to see the fighters, so you have to look at the big screen like you said. i have sit in the first tear and the camera men and the posts block the action. i think the best seats on front row with dana next to the cage. either way its a good time

Good to know, in that case I'll probablly pass. I would've liked to see Couture-Nog go at it, two of my all-time favorites, but **** it, I don't really have the scrilla.

if youve never been to a ufc event, i would recommend it no matter where your seats are. it's a great time no matter what. even the $50 seats are good. if the event isnt sold out, just move down to closer seats, which is what i have done in the past.

I've been to a few boxing cards, and a bunch of local MMA shows, and I saw a SpiritMC event in Seoul. However Portland's about a 4 hour drive and I'd probablly have to stay in a hotel for the night.

I think I'll buy a ticket for the Oregon Country Fair instead, and save my money on the fights this time. I'm planning to go back to school in the fall as well (if I get approved for a scholarship next month) so I've been trying to save up for a new laptop. I've been officially unemployed for about 7 months, so I don't really have the cash to burn.
