It's a decent movie. Troy's way better IMO.

Alexander was more a documentary than an actual movie, but with the usual Hollywood BS **** in it.

It was a decent movie if you enjoy Greek history.

I heard the gayness was rampant in that movie... lots of guy on guy action; so I haven't seen it. Rather read a history book than see Hollywood's liberal views about gays being depicted in a left-wing biased "history" film. I hate Hollywood... we should blow it up for the longevity and pride of the right-wing.. it'd be biblical.

Alexander was the biggest piece of trash ever made. It in no way depicted anything of historical significance. Alexander conquered pretty much the known world at the time and they showed what? 2 battle scenes in the movie. What did they show instead? The biggest **** load of gayness I've ever seen in my life. I know why my history prof trashed this movie so much after I went to see it. I would bet Oliver Stone is gay. His movies have a disturbing trend lately and he'll be coming out of the closet shortly I am sure.

The ratio of kissing males to females need to be atleast 10 females for every 1 male. And the number of males kissed must never exceed 1. He got the ratios backwards in this movie. Complete garbage. They took one of the greatest generals in the history of the planet and turned him into a ***. Thanks for nothing hollywood. You gay ****s.

I'll ****ing kill anyone who liked this movie and supports that kind of ****. No one should be that ignorant. I'm about a big of a buff as there is in terms of military history and I've never heard **** all about Alexander ever being a goddamn homo. I can handle some stuble hints maybe but the 3 hours of outright ****ing gayness was so bad I wanted to fight people in the parking lot. I've never been so pissed off after a movie. It really was the worst thing I have ever watched in my life. Give it 3 months and it will be in the bargin bin at walmart for $2.99. It's the closest thing I have seen to gay ****. I'm not gonna say he didn't because you can't really prove who slept with who thousands of years ago. There is only speculation. The "civilized" cultures of those early periods always had some kind of bisexuality associated with many scholars and leaders. But to make a movie when Alexander gets it on with pretty much any guy he lays eyes on is down right ****ing gay.

I've had too much gayness this semester. First I had to read that ******* Cellini's autobiography which, although funny with how he depicts himself the saviour of Rome and so forth, was a huge load of **** and his fondness for young boys was disturbing.

From what I have read previous on Ancient Greece, was it not relatively common place for Greek men of some importance (leaders, athletes, warriors etc) to have younger males as partners? Didn't necessarily make them gay, but was almost the norm? WOmen were basically for breeding..
