The guy has a suspect chin. I think Bernard Hopkins has the ability to break him down on the inside, and stop him. His jab is pretty and I like how he keeps his hands up alot, but he has a weak chin..

Winky Wright is rated right where he should be...a champion. Unfortunately, his style is not the most exciting. He is simply a sound, technical fighter.

I kinda hope that Mosley beats him on Saturday but I really dont think it'll happen.

Winky is highly overrated.

People really forget brefore Mosley he had LOSTeverytime he had stepped up in competion(Simon, Vargas, Vasquez) and his only win of any worth was Bronco McKart.

Hell yeah...theres no friggin way (outside of technically of course) that Winky lost that fight to Vargas. I also think that Wright is really on top of his game right now. Kind of like Morales. I dunno about the bumps though. They are bullets but I don't know why they are there.

When someone is doing better than expected people nut all over themselves and give him rounds that he's not really winning.

Usually I nut into a tissue or somewhere on or in a lady...but I think Winky did enough to win a close decision in that fight. What rounds are you talking about people wanting to give him that he's not really winning? I don't recall the fight that well but I can distinctly remember thinking that Winky should have won the fight.

Don't think that Winky is overrated. He's actually underrated. His win against Mosley said it all. Most people think that Shane's gonna win but it's the other way around and it's a convincing win. I think could've won against Oscar if ever given a chance. And he could surely give a great challenge against Tito and Nard.

Hell I dont remeber off hand. I aint seen the fight in awhile, but I do know I had Vargas with a clean win.

The fight was close but Winky pretty much shut down in the late rounds and I thought Vargas won the fight.

I am not sure if he is overrated or not but I do know he aint great. He aint really fought anyone but Mosely and I think their are a handful of fighters who could beat him at 154 to include Kassim, Mayorga, Forest and maybe even Shane if Goosen has taught him what he did Diego. I just don't think he is in the great catergory but he could change my mind if he beats some more big time fighters. I think Tito and Hops KO him due to the size and strength advantages.

Wright is about as overrated as Larry Holmes was in his prime. Wright has gotten no respect ever, so how is he overrated? he doesnt have a ****load of natural talent he is just a smart fighter who does what he was trained to do, if some of these others with more natural ability were as disciplined such as Mosley they could beat him but I pick a smart weak fighter over a strong dumb one anyday.

And Winky is THE undisputed champ for a good reason: he's far above everybody at this weight! He's getting more credit by casual fans since beating mosley, but he's always been very appreciated by true technique supporters

I think there is nothing mosley can do to win the fight, so wright is going to get the big names like tito or nard. Im sure taylor will fight him since winky is comin up to 160. So we will know if the shine of glory is a fluke or not.

Winky looked very average in his victories over Angel Hernandez and J.C. Candelo, but he looked very impressive against Mosley the first time around. But Mosley is the overrated one.

Winky lost the fight to Vargas. It was very close, Winky had the win in his grasp, but Winky let the fight slip through his fingers in the final few rounds. Most people are too influenced by the HBO announcers in that fight as they were riding Winky pretty hard. The funny thing is the Vargas fight was Winky's claim to fame, a close fight with a young inexperienced Vargas.
