It's my new one. The one thing I bought for me when I got paid for those costumes I did a couple of months ago. It prints photos beautifully!!! I still need to try out the copier and scanner.

Yeah, the downside does suck, but I pay for everything using my own money, so hubby says little. He would prefer I use a digital camera anyhow, but I like my 35 mm. I have a Canon Rebel and he wants the digital counterpart to it. The lenses are interchangable between the two cameras. If we get it, we're giving our current digital to our daughter (#2). She's the only one in the family without her own camera.

I love the printer for doing cropping and blowing up some shots. I'm the "Historian" for the band and pageantry, so everyone likes getting copies of the pics. For Christmas, I'm making pics and frames for the girls on the pageantry team.

What are the megapixels on the digital camera? Canon is a kickass brand name as far as camera's and camera equipment go, BTW.

Holy ****e. 8.2 MPs is a hell of a lot. I've never even seen one that high. But yeah, as far as quality goes, you can't go wrong with Canon. I used to sell them, and it was very rare that any customers had a problem with them.

We currently have the Canon PowerShot G2. I remember getting mad because of how much money it was and then we ALWAYS buy the extended warranty. Which in this case, paid off...it's in the shop now. The bad thing is how long it takes, Canon HAS to be the one to repair it, or the warranty is void. So it takes at least two weeks. Hopefully it will be back in time for Christmas.

Those are a couple of reasons he wants this camera. It's also got the metal body, but is lightweight. One of the other band dads had the Rebel EOS digital and it is NIICE. We should have good pics for the slide show I put together every year. :)
