Metric. If it's good enough for the rest of the known world, it's good enough for America.

How many yards is 345 feet?

How many meters is 345 centimeters?

I don't even have to think about the second one. Its easier to learn, its faster, and its what EVERYONE ELSE is using. Of course America isn't going to use it.

there are 100 centimeters in a meter. So its all done in multiples of 10.

345 centimeters is 3.45 meters.

Samething with celcius. Its meant to be direct, and simple. Its all based around water. The point which water freezes is 0, the point at which is boils is 100.

To convert Celsius into Fahrenheit
Multiply by 9, divide by 5 and add 32.

To convert Fahrenheit into Celsius
Subtract 32, multiply by 5 and divide by 9

-40 degrees Celcius is the same as -40 degrees Fahrenheit strangely enough.

There is also a third system of messurement known as Kelvin. However, its used to messure things in space so who gives a ****?

Kelvin is really ****ed when you try to use it to measure smaller items, like water and ****. I guess it works for NASA though.
