>I have found myself guilty of being that person. In my defense, my store changed the checkout lanes and moved the express lane. I honestly didn't see the sign. I won't do it again!!

I was in the express lane at the store quietly fuming. Completely ignoring
> the sign, the woman ahead of me had slipped into the check-out line
> pushing a cart piled high with groceries. Imagine my delight when the
> cashier beckoned the woman to come forward looked into the cart and asked
> sweetly, "So which six items would you like to buy?" Wouldn't it be great
> if that happened more often?!!!

I go postal when people stand in line and don't have their method of payment out and ready. You know you have to pay for your stuff and you know how you're going to pay for it. Get it ready so we don't have to stand there while you dig through your wallet/purse looking for a card. Paying by check? start filling it out while your stuff is being rung up. that way we all don't have to stand in line while you figure out what today's date is. There should be a law that says you are allowed to beat anyone who tries to balance their check book in at the register. If you're on the cell phone and doing your check book and you feel someone knock you out of the way, that's probably me.

why do people even pay by check nowadays? that's the part i don't get. nonetheless, the coupon complainers are the worst.

LOL, don't knock coupons!! I used to be able to go into the store and save tons of money. I don't do it any more because I simply don't have the time. It would take me apx 2-3 hours to prep for shopping. But I saved so much that I could say that I actually MADE over $20/hr in savings. That included the shopping trip itself.

The complainers just need to read the dates on the coupons and understand the expiration dates.
