View Full Version : Hamed 97' v PBF @ 130
drag0n_ 11-17-2004, 11:14 AM Who wins and why?
In my semi-biased opinion, i'd say Hamed wins tko in 10.
Both have very fast hands, quick reflexes. Floyd probably a better boxer, but imo i cant see him withstanding that freak power of Naz.
Be one hell of a fight!

Floyd is unquestionably a better boxer...& Hamed does not hit as hard as Diego Corrales does, so his power would mean little.
Floyd, easily.....late tko.
abdiel2k3 11-17-2004, 11:21 AM this woudl prolly be one of the most boring fights ever
or most exciting
both guys like to counter
but when they do watch out
big power comes out
id give both guys as good of a chance as the other
all tho floyd would prolly have a slight edge becuase of his great defense and blinding speed
but i think the winner would defintly be determined by who assumes the role of the aggressor which would lead the other guy "natural counter puncher" to win this fight
but im guess hamed would try to impose his aggression and clowing around
floyd would jab him so much hamed would eventually get wreckless trying to nail that one big shot
Floyd By Late KO
jack_the_rippuh 11-17-2004, 03:18 PM Hamed knew in his heart he couldn't beat him..
I can see Floyd winning this fight by UD if he doesn't stop him first, Hamed has never faced anyone who hits as hard as Floyd..
QueenCity 11-17-2004, 10:39 PM The Prince would have to knock him out to beat him and he has great power at featherweight, but moving up in weight would be too much for him. I'll take Mayweather winning easily
adeelr 01-14-2005, 01:38 PM Hamed is very unpredictable, and he can knock out floyd quickly if any one of his bombs connect. as for diego corrales, he was never able to hit floyd convincingly in their fight and even though he had heart he lacked confidence. Hamed was the most confident fighter in recent history. He would be able to frustrate floyd and win either by a K.O or a decision.
The1God 01-14-2005, 01:46 PM PBF has many more skills than Hamed. I think it would go the distance without Hamed winning a round. Floyd would recognize it is an easy fight early on and protect his hands and take Hamed to school.

He caught Floyd with a couple of left hooks from the distance and when they were in close range, he landed some shots whast Floyd took pretty well, not saying they landed flush, but let's not act like he didn't land anything. Floyd has one of the best chins pound for pound.
mic573 01-14-2005, 02:23 PM Hamed never wanted anything to do with Mayweather. Floyd would win easy especially at 130. Big power don't mean anything if you can't land flush and Floyd is a defensive specialist.
SJB'09 01-14-2005, 05:54 PM This would have been a horrible matchup for Hamed, Mayweather ixs too slick and has too good a defense. Mayweather would win this and badly expose the Prince's limitations.
smokeyjackson 04-18-2005, 02:26 PM mayweather ko hamed in 6
cupcrazy01 04-19-2005, 02:58 PM If the majority of you guys don't think the Prince could land a power shot on Mayweather, how on earth will Gatti?
I'd say Hamed would catch Floyd once or twice and knock him down at least once, but Floyd would win UD by outboxing the Prince and winning almost every other round outside of the knockdown round...
