Fair play. Ive never been a fan of Mir, but the Hardonk sub, Lesnar sub (even though there shouldnt have been a ref aid for Mir), and the destruction of Nog have been impressive as of late.

My memory goes back to the Pe da Pano, Christian and Vera fights where he looked average. I dont look too much into the Freeman fight as that was alearning curve.

I see a cagey first round without either fighter taking risks Mir trys to kickbox, 2nd round Mir gets caught with a big shot gets took down, stunned. Then Brock scores some messy but effective GnP to get the ref stoppage.

This fight aint gonna go to second round.

Really? I'm not impressed at all. He has big power but there is nothing technical about his striking at all. He has no footwork, can't work angles, extremely flat footed, very little head movement.

But it doesn't really matter. Nobody in the UFC has too much of chance at beating him except for maybe Carwin or Cain and the only person I see outstriking him is Kongo but Kongo would get taken down in a hurry.

I see Lesnar winning this anyway, but in all honesty, I don't care who wins because I hate both of them.

Too be honest I thought that Couture was outstriking Brock on the feet, however he made the mistake of staying in the pocket too long and he couldn't stand up to the power. Randy's stand-up game is not bad, but he has a tendency to lapse imo and that's when he can be caught.

doesn't need any of that cuz he has great power and his single punch is really quick so he is able to catch his opponent before they could react. his striking is good enough for his physical capabilities so he doesn't need to be too technical.

Brock has a long way to go in the standup, but he has shown some good knees from the clinch against Herring & Couture
