I'm off to work but I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who has stuck with us and kept this place up and running during the slow times this year.
A lot of people bailed but you guys stuck with us and help keep it going.
Have a great turkey day and be safe.

What the **** do Canadians have too be thankful for? Why do you have thanksgiving? Some canad **** just decided he needed a reason to have turkey? NHL is on strike, so so much for your hockey, and **** the metric system.....

Well, neither one is worthy of "own3d" status imo. Overated excuse to eat a lot of **** and note your friends and families aging.

Why dosen't the US go metric anyways? They're the only country in the world that hasn't changed over. Metric is a hell of a lot easier to learn.

Typical American thinking the Thanksgiving is an American holiday. Its a north ameircan indian holiday and it celibrated during the harvest. Thus, its thanksgiving in October for Canada.

Oh yeah, learn the metric system. Get into the modern age.

typical inferior canad jumping into a simple 'happy holiday' thread to try ta do anything possible to gain a semi respectable outlook for a country that, once again, nobody ****ing cares about.

thanksgiving is a holiday that was based on a pact of friendship/brotherly love/peace and all that good ****. even though it took place on American soil it can still be celebrated by anyone anywhere because the overall meaning is to stop your everyday toil for once, enjoy a nice meal with yer loved ones, and be thankful for what you have while always remembering to be kind to those that don't have.

it's not just an American Indian holiday cause obviously there were pilgrims dining that day as well. and canada hasn't owned anything so far so throwing the whole 'again' thing in there is making you look more stupid then i make you look. and since i make you look pretty stupid most of the time then that's quite a pat on the back you should give yourself for actually outdoing me for once.
so quit trying to hijack this into another 'we are canadian and we are better than America' thread because you never win those arguements anyways. and you never win any arguement with me so don't even bother replying.

150, I'm fighting next at 143 probably in February. It's not the calories it's the fat and other crap that's in it.

Someone told me that deep fried turkey is THE best meat you'll ever eat(no jokes guys) but I find that hard to believe. Deep fry a damn turkey and it pwns ****in honey baked ham and ... everything else?

I doubt that. Coupla buds did it this year but since I hate them, I passed on their damn turkey.
