View Full Version : You can argue anyone from the Lox is the best member of the Group....

Sheek was considered the best member of the Lox prior to the release of money, power and respect...the debut album released by the Lox on Bad Boy, back in 1998.

For a while Jadakiss was considered the best, but i see more heads leaning towards styles p now. Styles has been very consistently proving that hes at the top of the mixtape game, and in my opinion Super Gangster >> Last Kiss.

Lyrically, Sheek might be the best from the group. Hes at least just as good as the other two members, the problem is....his voice. Once i got used to sheek, his voice wasnt really a big deal and hes one of the funniest rappers...you dont know what hes gonna say next. Heres a couple of examples...

"Sheek be on some shit likes flies and the bees"

"I aint seeing double platinum unless I take it off your fukkin neck"

"You should have spent it on some guns
Instead of Iceberg pants"

Then you got who most people probably still consider to be the best, Jadakiss. Hes been very consistent like the other members in the group, has many quotables, has the most mainstream success, and has the best solo album from the group (kiss tha game goodbye)

Much respect to all 3 of them, they're the only new york group thats still going.

it's Styles P, Sheek has been a huge letdown for the past handful of years. I expected big things from him.

I REALLY enjoy jada... But styles's solo efforts have elevated him higher than the rest. And i think you hit the nail on the head with sheek's voice. But the thing is, they all put in work and I look forward to anything the group puts out, whether it be solo work, or group stuff.

But as for this... Styles is getting my vote.

I gotta agree with the other 5 people that voted for styles P. I would have said jada easily a few years ago, but i started listening to styles more and its sad how badly hes slept on as a solo artist.

Styles>Jada>Sheek...but imo After Taxes is the best from all of their solos followed by Gangster and A Gentleman then Kiss Tha Game Goodbye.

What makes the LOX great is that they all bring out the best in eachother everytime they hop on a record...

If you dont like the lox, you dont like your mutha ****in self!!

Styles easy for me. Gangsta and a Gentleman is one of my favorite albums. They're still best as a group though.
