Random question, but the music I like, I usually don't like running too. Something that is kind of repetitive with a consistant rhythm I like running too.

This is my favourite song to run too. Just the drums and the violins.

Kate Bush: Cloudbusting

anyone find that fast music makes them run faster, lol.

Oasis-Supersonic

is a good running song, it's all about the rhythm section really, as long as it is evenly paced.

I tend to just listen to the stuff I usually listen too. Doesn't have to be fast paced or hardcore rap to get me pumped. Just music I enjoy to take my mind of how boring running is. Could be rock, rap, techno whatever.

But I will check out some of the songs listed above. I may like them.

Never said it was good lol.

But it has consistant drum beat and violins. Tis what I need. Something samey.

way to samey ...i like a song that makes me want to run fast and even faster when the chorus comes in....maybe if your goal was walking it might be a good song or running up a steep hill very slowly

I like listening to r&b dance stuff or even some house music while running or hittin' bags/skipping rope. It helps with my rhythm. Hip-hop or heavy metal more for when I'm lifting weights.

Loop this into about 20 minutes and you have a 3 to 4 mile beat no problem.

Also go to firstcom.com and search for "gridiron guts". That is the BEST beat for springting or high tempo *burst* work (speed drills/flurry/etc) I'll try to post up a sample of it later.
